Greek Resources

The Fraternity & Sorority Life Office is a unit of the Dean of Students Office providing resources to the Greek Community, Greek governing councils, national organizations, local advisors, and individual students. Experienced professional and support staff provide assistance to the Greek Community in the following ways:

  • Leadership Development

  • Event Planning

  • Recruitment and membership database maintenance

  • Academic and membership recruitment/retention assessment

  • Policy enforcement

The following are additional student resources provided for the Greek Community.

  • Greek Leadership Conference: an annual spring leadership conference that provides students with sessions aimed at improving leadership skills and exploring current hot topics.

  • Greek Leaders Retreat: a winter getaway trip for new chapter officers and newly elected members of the Greek executive councils to transition them into their new roles.

  • COMM 3136: Leadership, Service, and Ethics: a special section of this class is offered exclusively for Greeks in the spring. This 3-credit hour class provides Greek members the opportunity to learn more about leadership and Fraternity & Sorority Life, and helps to develop their own leadership potential.

  • Order of Omega Honor Society: a Greek leadership honorary society for junior and seniors with leadership experience and high scholastic achievement.
